There are several types of leukemia – they include acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), and chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). Leukemia begins in the bone marrow where blood cells are produced. Leukemia can occur suddenly or gradually, which can help you figure out if it is acute or chronic.
